Mission Statement:
To further the Guam Department of Education's mission, School Resource Officers assist all students identified as having attendance problems by working to prevent truancy and reduce the high dropout rate. The team reports all violations of the Truancy Statues to the courts.
Truancy Goals and Objectives:

To motivate students to attend school through prevention efforts such as monitoring of student's attendance, informal counseling, and identifying attendance challenges.

To enforce the truancy statutes by identifying habitual truants and reporting them to court as mandated.

To decrease the student dropout rate through court intervention and disposition.
